This project involved converting a 100-year-old suburban garden into a two car driveway for disabled access.
The project involved planning permission, landscape garden planning, cutting down the old garden, excavation, leveling, laying down of hardcore bricks followed by finer ground materials to give a level surface, followed by the installation of plastic structural meshwork, into which small stones were poured. Overall the surface is strong, flat, very durable, and capable of holding heavy vehicles and looks more elegant than a simple gravel driveway, which in time would show signs of use.
The contracted maintenance team for this project included professionals who have landscaped some of the most exclusive golf courses in the world, such as Bisley in Surrey.
The brickwork was done by a master bricklayer and the wooden gates were custom made to White Mountain Property's design. If you have a similar project and would like our help, please drop an email to email@example.com with details.
